Hay Creek Heritage Farms

A small farm dedicated to conserving and promoting rare heritage livestock breeds and heirloom vegetables in Michigan on the banks of Hay Creek.

Our poultry is pasture raised - birds are free to roam explore pastured and wooded areas, including a pond during the day. Poultry is put into coops at night for protection from predators. In addition to what they forage, we supplement their diet with locally-sourced, non-gmo grain fermented on-farm, spent grain from a local brewery, and an organic vitamin supplement. Find pasture raised duck and chicken eggs (and occasionally turkey eggs) through our CSA, at the Ypsilanti Farmers Market, or in our self-serve cooler on the farm January-April.
