Hay Creek Heritage Farms

A small farm dedicated to conserving and promoting rare heritage livestock breeds and heirloom vegetables in Michigan on the banks of Hay Creek. Our produce is certified organic. by OEFFA.

Our poultry is pasture raised - birds are free to roam explore pastured and wooded areas, including a pond during the day. Poultry is put into coops at night for protection from predators. In addition to what they forage, we supplement their diet with locally-sourced, non-gmo grain fermented on-farm, spent grain from a local brewery, and an organic vitamin supplement. Find pasture raised duck and chicken eggs (and occasionally turkey eggs) through our CSA, at the Ypsilanti Farmers Market, or in our self-serve cooler on the farm January-April.
